Open studio: Jin Choi and Klaus Elkær

Jin Choi graduated from Sheridan College in Canada in furniture making and design in 2016. He moved to Bornholm in 2018 with his wife Inkyoung Lee, who is a ceramicist. In 2020, he initiated a collaboration with furniture maker Klaus Elkær, and together they run Østerlars Møbelsnedkeri. On September 13, they will open the doors to the furniture workshop for anyone interested in seeing the current production and development.

Jin Choi and Klaus Elkær won the prize for the Craft Weeks Object 2024 with the stool SKRIKK, which is also available for viewing and purchase at the workshop.
