Bornholm Championship in Wheel throwing

Bornholm Championships in Wheel throwing will be held at the Royal Danish Academy's - Craft in Glass and Ceramics Department in Nexø. Experience professional ceramicists compete at the pottery wheels in three sharp disciplines: 1. Tallest cylinder. 2. Widest bowl. 3. Series throwing, where they will aim to throw as many identical items as possible within 30 minutes.

The judging panel consists of ceramicists Ejnar Paulsen, and Michael Geertsen.

During the brief breaks between disciplines, refreshments will be available for purchase at the café.

After the competition, there will be an opportunity for the audience to try their hand at turning for a duration of 10 minutes per person.
