Opening of the exhibition The Cup and the Potter

The exhibition "The Cup and the Potter" stems from a project on the dissemination of fine craftsmanship. For the project, which also includes a book (to be published in November 2024) and an exhibition at the Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen (opening on 14 November 2024), 30 ceramicists have been selected. All of them work professionally with the development and production of coffee and tea cups as well as tea bowls. The exhibition at Bornholm's Center for Craftsmanship from 6 September to 7 November is the first part of the project. Meet author Claus Domine Hansen at the opening of the exhibition.

The project is supported by the Grosserer L. F. Foght Foundation, the Consul George Jorck and Wife Emma Jorck Foundation, the Lizzi and Mogens Staal Foundation, the Esther and Jep Fink Memorial Foundation for Architecture and Craftsmanship, the Arne V. Schlesch Foundation, Cerama, and Sorring Lervarefabrik.

The event is part of the opening of Bornholm Craft Weeks 2024.
